Autumn is the time for limes in Australia. It's the one time of the year when these delicious, small, green citrus fruit are cheap to buy and abundant.
Buy glossy green limes. If the skin is slightly discoloured they will still be juicy.
To get the most juice from a lime, pop it in the microwave for 15 seconds or run it under hot water before juicing. Take advantage of the glut of limes in Autumn and freeze the juice to enjoy all year.
